PLEASE NOTE: CLASS SCHEDULES WILL BE MAILED HOME TO 7TH AND 8TH GRADE STUDENTS AFTER AUGUST 19, 2010. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL AND REQUEST SCHEDULES UNTIL AFTER THE WEEK OF AUGUST 19, 2010
6TH GRADE STUDENTS WILL GET THEIR SCHEDULES AT ORIENTATION ON AUGUST 19TH OR 30TH.
Reminder for Incoming 6th Grade Students:
If you are turning 11 years old before school starts you must have your Tdap vaccine and proof submitted to the SMS nurse
BEFORE school starts.
FALL SPORT NOTES: Students entering 9th grade in September need to check the SHS website for dates and times to obtain a pink slip or get a sport physical. Middle school students trying out for a high school sport should also follow this procedure.
Middle School sports will start the 2nd week of school.
The first week of school lists of students eligible to play will be posted in the nurse's office.
Students
should check to see if they are on the appropriate list. The doctor will be available 9/15 and 9/16 for students still in need of a physical.
All students who want to participate in school sports must be certified by the school doctor even if they had a recent physical by their own doctor.
